Now in retirement from full-time work, I pepper my leisure time each Monday evening with a little writing about Jewish athletics.
But looking back in time..
The greatest part of my career was in ICT, of which the greatest part was as a Database Administrator, of which the greatest part was working for BACS, the financial clearing house now called Vocalink. Before all that I taught Maths full time for two years, and before that I worked for six years in Operational Research.
Since retiring from BACS I have taught maths, run a small desktop publishing and web design business and, as above, written on athletics for the Jewish Chronicle. Some of my writing can be seen at www.briansacks.com and http://www.thejc.com/sport/topics/athletics . I have set up the Daniel Sacks Memorial Award for Outstanding Young Athletic Achievement in memory of my late son - see www.danielsacksaward.org.uk
